I started painting seriously in 2023 after setting up a small studio in my office at home. My first paintings were on paper made for oil or acrylic painting, mostly 9” x 12.” Later, I switched to canvas sheets, then panels, with sizes increasing to 12” x 16”, then 14” x 18”. In 2027 I plan to start using 18” x 24” panels.

For acrylics I’m using Golden Heavy Body acrylics, with various mediums from Golden and Liquitex. I like using acrylics because they dry quickly and I can add more layers almost immediately. They are also easier to handle, without having to deal with messy wet oil paints and toxic fumes.
